KLM launched its 4th direct flight
on 19th June 2007 to and from Uganda. This
means that they now fly four times (on Tuesday,
Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) from Amsterdam
Schiphol Airport to Entebbe Airport.
ALSO…KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is
the only airline that offers flights from
Entebbe to London City Airport (LCY) via
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Located in the
very heart of the city, this airport offers
passengers traveling to London an extremely

In its commitment to match the increasing
number of passengers and the expanded operation,
Ethiopian Airlines has leased two PW powered
Boeing 767-300ER aircraft from Deutsche
Structured (DSF) based in Frankfurt; Germany.
The lease agreement, signed on May 26, 2007
at Ethiopian’s Head Quarter in Addis
Ababa, is for six years effective May 31,
2007. The lease for both aircraft is on
dry (operating) basis. Ethiopian Airline’s
cockpit crew operate the aircraft to any
scheduled destination and its cabin crew
provide service on board.
The two aircraft with flight number ET-9201
were ferrying direct from Beijing, China
to Addis Ababa. The first of the two B767-300ER
aircraft, ET-AMF that arrived at the Addis
Ababa Bole International Airport on June
01, 2007, was manufactured in April 2000
and the second one ET-AMG which arrived
at Ethiopian’s home base on July 07,
2007 was manufactured in November 2000.
Both aircraft are 270-seater all Economy
and will be converted to a two-Class Service;
Cloud Nine and Economy, accommodating 24
passengers in the Cloud Nine and 211 passengers
in the Economy Class.
The arrival of these two B767-300ER aircraft
fulfills Ethiopian’s current capacity
requirement especially in view of its increasing
number of passengers and expanded operation.
